Practice Profile
Erica Jong founded Erica Jong Architects in 2008. The
Practice provides architecture, design and management services. She has 15 years of experience in the construction industry, and has worked on a variety of projects including corporate offices and headquarters, healthcare, arts & leisure, residential, data centres, and masterplan developments.
Prior to setting up her own practice, Erica was the Healthcare Sector Director at Sheppard Robson, the fifth largest architectural practice in the UK. She also worked at Sir Terry Farrell & Partners, London; Nettleton Tribes & Partners in Sydney; and East Design Architects in Penang, Malaysia. She has a chartered membership with RIBA, and a full membership with APM and CIOB, and is also a member with AfH [Architects for Health]. And, holds two master degrees: Construction & Corporate Management; and, Planning Buildings for Health.
Erica is experienced in project execution and management in architectural projects, construction and corporate offices. She has directed numerous projects won through competitions. Number of these have won prestigious architectural and design, and environmental awards, including Experian Headquarters, and The Deep, an Aquarium.
She also specialises in health care, particularly during Strategic Outline Case and Outline Business Case stages; and, procurement routes for various forms of contracts for different types of buildings. Erica is fluent in several languages and has international experience in building projects.
Our Practice ethos is to achieve clients’ aspirations by synthesising design, construction and management, in a holistic approach. It is aimed to be effective, efficient and elegant with respect to both the process and the end product.
